Antique 19C French Tapestry Painting Grid
This lovely gouache on paper painting was created in France during the 19th Century and used in the development of woven tapestry. This painting features a tree with flowers and leaves surrounded by stems of other flowers, berries, fruit and leaves. The colors include tones of tan, rose, wine, green, blue, lavender, cream, brown, grey and taupe on a brown/black ground.
The painting measures 30 1/2 inches in width by 30 inches in length.
This painting would be wonderful framed!
