Hallmarked Silver Pepper Pot 1910

Wonderful Sterling Silver Pepper pot. Marks: The Lion, for Sterling silver, An Anchor, for Birmingham Assay Office, and the date letter for 1910. This is the year GeorgeV came to the English Throne. Both body and top are marked. Originally for ground pepper, it could also be use for any ground spice. This is one of the most unusual pepper pots I have seen and would make a great addition to a silver collection. It is all in very good condition. It measures 4" high, 2" at its widest and 11/2" back to front.
