Small wooden treen round box
Cute little turned box with lid. I'm not sure if it is made of boxwood or maybe maple, but it's a light yellow wood with tight grain. Condition is good, and there are no cracks or chips to the edges, which are very finely turned. The top is painted with pale blue 'dianthus?', painting is in good condition. The finish on the box is either a clear varnish or french polish, the bottom is rubbed, but no bare wood. Measures just under 2" dia and 1/2" high.Nice addition for a box or treen collector.
