T&V LIMOGES Hand Painted Double Handled Condiment Bowl Ca. 1892-1907

What a fabulous find to grace your dinner table! This unique hand painted Limoges boat-shaped bowl is from Tressemann & Vogt and bears the green T75a mark, dating it to between 1892 and 1907. The shallow, elongated bowl features pale yellow roses accented with green leaves on a peach colored background. The design is echoed on both sides and the interior, with a beautiful lustreware finish on the interior. Gold handles and gold trim around the rim are the icing on the cake. The bowl measures 10" wide, 4" deep and 1-3/4" high. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs, but does show a bit of wear on the gold handles as shown in photo #7. It is marked in green "T&V Limoges France" with the initial W or M incised on the bottom. This unusual shape is a must-have for the serious Limoges collector.
