Beautiful Dated 1808 French Portrait Miniature Gutta Percha Frame with Name

This gorgeous young lady has dark ringlets around her face and a topknot and a gorgeous french net lace large collar on her dress or gown. Typical hairstyle of the early 1800's. Set against a blue gray background. Detailing is fabulous which you cannot see good in my pictures as I could not get a really good close up.

This is in the original Gutta Percha frame and on the back is signed in beautiful old ink script G. Marras March 1808. Convex glass on frame with gold inner rim.

NOTE: True color of picture is in the picture of all three that I have for sale. If you see a shadow or darker color in background it is just light reflection. There are no smudges or anything on this. This is much better than my pictures show as could not get a great picture due to lighting.

Condition: Excellent condition.

Size: 4 1/4" tall x 4 1/4" wide. Opening for portrait is 2 1/2" tall x 2" wide.
