We are very proud to offer a beautiful, rare, scarce angel skin coral necklace by Ming's of Honolulu, Hawaii. Ming's jewelry store opened in the 1940's by Wook & Shay Moon in downtown Honolulu. Ming's jewelry store is widely assumed to have been run by a Chinese family, but it was started by Wook Moon , the eldest son of Dora Kim Moon, who was among the first group of Koreans to arrive in Hawaii. Ming's became one of the best known popular & premier jewelry stores in Hawaii. They carved all their jewelry by hand, of which our angel skin coral is a super example. They closed their doors in 1999. These coral beads range from 11.5 mm to a whopping 15.3 mm. The necklace weighs a whopping 134 grams! The length is only 19 inches which tells you each & every bead is big & heavy. There are 31 beads. Beads 1.= (11.53 & 11.79 mm). Beads 2.= (12.05 & 12.05 mm). Beads 3,= (12.68 & 12.92 mm).
