I have provided all new silk cord stringing with french wire endings for this Victorian "pruned" branch coral beauty. Pruning the branch coral makes it much more wearable as the ends are soft not prickly. This color of coral is rare and Mediterranean in origin. I have also added a new box clasp as the old one was worn out and it is stamped 14kt gold. Weighing 61.98 grams and measuring 15 1/2" at the shortest and graduating out from there to 17 1/2". The beads are also graduated from 4mm at the clasp to 12mm in the center. The 3 strands also graduate from the smallest bead necklace to the 3rd one with the biggest beads. The artistic nature of this necklace is a tribute to the great love the Victorians had for their coral.
The appraised value is $600 from Harold Weinstein good for worldwide insurance and evaluation purposes, coming to you as a $100 bonus and bonus matching earrings included in the appraisal.
