RARE BOOK PIECE Deco Black Bakelite Pin with Chrome "Lollipop" Insets

We discovered this unique vintage pin in England. It is crafted in black bakelite (simichrome tested) with chrome decoration in the shape of two lollipops. Very interesting shape: rounded back with peaked two sided front. The sides are diagonal. So very geometric, so very Deco. This pin can be seen on page 76 of the reference book Plastic Jewelry, by Kelley and Schiffer.

Excellent vintage condition. Light surface scratches from gentle wear. Size: 3 1/4" across by 3/4" wide.
