Iridescent Mother teacup and saucer with Enesco Imports foil Japan label

Here for your consideration is a vintage, beautiful and highly embellished teacup and saucer, with "Mother" in sprays of flowers on both pieces! The sprays of flowers include little blue Forget-me-nots, red roses, gold flowers, and greenery. On a fine china base with an applied iridescent / iridized finish which is even and lustrous all around (the shadows and flash may make it appear otherwise). This pearlized or Mother of Pearl look appears to have all been done by hand, and I estimate this piece to be 1950's-1960's vintage.

The artisan has included a lighted candle beside one of the sprays of flowers on the saucer...just a bit of extra tribute for a special Mother! (This one also has the remnants of a price sticker on it which I have not tried to remove, but feel certain will wash off easily.)

Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or damage. The footed cup measures 3 ¼"H with a 3 ½" mouth and a 1 ¾" base, and the saucer measures 6 inches across. Both have the gold foil and red Enesco sticker on the bottom.

Truly a unique and special gift for that unique and special Mother!
