Coffee cup and saucer demitasse Made in Occupied Japan with flower motif

Here is a beautiful demi cup and saucer made in Occupied Japan. The cup and saucer both have an attractive double floral motif with different types of flowers in mauve, lavender, white, and blue. They appear to be hand painted with gold trim on a banded two-color, gold on white base.

This set is in excellent condition and is free from chips, cracks or repairs. It also seems to be a bit of an uncommon pattern, as I have not found another like it anywhere.

The saucer measures 4 ½" W x ½" H, and the cup is <3" W x 3 ¼" H with slightly greater than a 2" mouth.

The bottom of each piece is marked in red ink, "Made in Occupied Japan", with S.G.K. in a diamond shape, and L B above the diamond.

This is a wonderful set for the demitasse collector and those investing in Occupied Japan pieces.
