Black Japan fine china Hair Receiver vase urn with Hibiscus and bird

Here is a beautiful vintage piece in deep black with a wonderful multi-colored motif of a red Hibiscus flower, green leaves, and a small bird. The top shape points to it being a hair receiver, though one could certainly use the terms urn or vase.

Marked on the base "Fine China Japan" this item measures approximately 14 1/4" around x 4 3/4" high x 5 1/2" wide, with a 2" base. It is without cracks, chips, or other damage. Even the gilding is intact.
