This is a cute little example of French cameo glass. This unusual vase dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's. It was produced by Touvier. The color is a deep burgundy, accented with gold trim. The design features grapes and leaves hanging on the vine. A substantial amount of work went into this example, between the textured background and the fire polishing. The vase stands 4 1/4" tall and measures 2 1/2" across. There is one pinpoint flake on the top rim of the vase. Otherwise, there are no other damages or repairs to the piece. An unusual example to add to any French cameo glass collection!
