German bisque pair figurines boy and girl with snowballs
This is a nice pair of antique bisque figurines produced in Germany painted in tones of yellow, green, and tan. The boy is dressed in a period outfit and hat, throwing snowballs. The girl is carrying a basket, and using her hand to shield her face from the snowballs. The pair stand approximately 11" tall. The boy has several small flakes around the base and hat, along with a tiny firing line at the base. The girl figurine is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.These pieces date to the late 1800's or early 1900's.
