Huge gilt and silvered bronze jewelry box or casket

This is an outstanding large jewelry casket or box form the late 1800's. It has an ornate detailed design over the entire piece. The bronze is silvered or gilt, with a substantial amount of hand chasing. There is a brass finish shield in the center, and the box rests on four delicate feet. The interior has velvet lining, and does retain the original key.This is a large box, measuring 10" by 10" by 4 3/8" tall. This box is in good condition with no noted damages or repairs.
