This is a good example of Nailsea art glass. This bowl has a nice shouldered form, measuring 7 1/2" across and standing 3 3/4" tall. It is a well executed piece of glass, with a ground pontil on the bottom. It exhibits some wear on the bottom, and likely dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's. Several different companies produced this type of glass in that time frame. Please excuse the glare and reflection in my pictures! This piece is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
