French porcelain Sevres style male portrait plate

This is a great hand painted French porcelain portrait plate done in the style of Sevres. The plate has a deep cobalt blue border with thick gold scroll, leaf, and floral decoration. The center features the portrait of a man dressed in period attire. Raised beads on the collar and around the sleeve make a nice accent to the piece. The plate measures 9 3/8" across.The only mark I could find on the back was an incised #4. The quality of the work is great, likely French in origin. This piece is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
