ES Germany porcelain beaded Goddess of sea portrait vase
This is a cute portrait vase produced by Saxe ES Germany. It features the goddess of the sea. She sits by the side of the ocean, holding a large shell to her ear. Shells adorn her hair, and she has a bouquet of flowers in her lap. Thick gold scrolls adorn the portrait. The entire body of the vase is decorated with thick turquoise and gold beading, with two delicate art nouveau handles. The piece stands 5" tall and measures 2 7/8" across at the widest point. It is marked on the bottom Prov Saxe ES Germany. This vase is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
