Roseville Pottery Pine Cone vase, 842-8

This Roseville Pottery Pine Cone vase is brown with crisp mold and good color and glaze. EXCELLENT CONDITION with no chips, cracks or damage . There is one glaze pin hole and one under glaze pin head size bump mentioned for accuracy sake. Bottom impressed in script Roseville 842-8. Vase is 8 1/4 inches tall . Very clean inside with no apparent use.

The popular Pine Cone pattern was introduced by Roseville Pottery Co. in the early 1930's. . Pinecone was originally designed Frank Ferrell with standard colors of green, blue and brown. Early Pine Cone was marked with foil labels, and some had hand-written shape numbers. A little later pieces had die-impressed or raised Roseville script marks, shape numbers, and sizes
