This sweet all-bisque doll has an elaborate molded bisque bonnet. These so-called "bonnet dolls" are uncommon and a wonderful addition to any all-bisque collection. This particular one stands 6" tall and has an elaborate molded bonnet with bow and long blonde well-modeled molded hair. The doll is unmarked but is made by the Hertwig firm in Germany c. 1900. Many of these dolls are jointed only at the arms, but this doll is also jointed at the legs. The neck does not swivel (one piece body and torso) and the eyes are painted and blue. CONDITION
Large chip (plus smaller one) on bow of bonnet at top, otherwise excellent. There is an old store price label on her torso (see photo).
