Superb Wallace Silver on Copper Large Rose Bowl
Really super silver plated rose bowl by Wallace, in a large size measuring 5 3/4" tall by 8 1/4" wide. The bowl is older vintage, it is silver on copper, and has absolutely beautiful deep repousse floral designs over the body of the bowl and ornate applied border, see photos. The bowl is in good estate order, there is one very small dent in the body, which is virtually invisible against the pattern, a little surface wear to the plate, and the copper is showing to the interior, probably due to water standing when flowers were in it, these are very minor and the bowl shows beautifully. I have shown it photographed filled with potpourri, but it looks far better with a floral arrangement, the size and the design make it an impressive and beautiful centerpiece for any table.
