Victorian Royal Bonn vase which has been drilled in order to convert to a lamp, it has not been wired or fitted, though this is a relatively easy job should you desire to do so, but displays beautifully as is, as there are no alterations other than the hole in the bottom. The painting on the vase is outstanding, with wonderful highly highly detailed bird, foliage and flowers, see photos for detail. The vase measures approximately 9 1/2 inches high, and is in excellent estate order with just minor crazing to the glaze, some wear to the gilt handle, and a kiln pop on the base rim from in the making. The vase is all original other than the base drill hole for wiring, it is visually stunning. The drill hole has cut through the impressed back stamps, but AN Mehlem and A/Rheinn are still just visable.
