Large 16" Hand Painted Floral Porcelain Vanity Tray Dated 1914
Very large 16 1/2" by 12 3/4" dresser tray, beautifully painted on porcelain and signed by the artist Annie Chestnut, and dated 1914 (see photos). No chips, cracks or other damage, there is the faintest marking to the surface in the middle of the tray (probably where something was stood) though this is virtually invisible unless you hold it up to the light. Very delicate color washed painting, with beautifully rose design, and a monogram in gold to the top, though the lettering is so ornate I cannot work it out. This would be such a beautiful place to keep your cosmetics and perfumes, and it is large enough to be truly practical. I have estimated the shipping as this is large and fairly heavy and fragile, I will refund any over charges.
