Embossed Earthenware Pitcher with Lion Head Handle by Arthur Wood & Son Ltd.

Condition is good, there are no chips, cracks, or other damage, the piece has slight overall crazing, and some VERY minor blue staining on the very base (looks like it stood on something), which does not show at all when displayed. Pitcher measures approx 6 1/4" tall, and is signed and imprinted to the base, it dates to the later 20th C.

The pitcher is very sturdy and practical as well as highly decorative, it would blend in with any existing white ware or service, and would also look fantastic with shabby white, or filled with a bouquet of fresh flowers. If you look around the site, the white ware by Woods is generally priced far higher, this is a lovely pitcher at very reasonable money.
