German Beer Stein - U.S. Army TDS & Judge Advocate General Insignia
German beer stein, in excellent condition with just light wear to the gold trim, marked to the base West Germany. The stein takes a half liter, it is monogrammed for the US Army Trial Defense Service Europe "Flew" "Battlin Barristers" and has the previous insignia of the TDS, and that of the Judge Advocate General's corps (a gold color sword and pen crossed and superimposed on a laurel wreath) see photos for detailed description. The United States Army Trial Defense Service is an independent Field Operating Agency within the US Army Judge Advocate General's Corps, and is part of the US Army Legal Services Agency, their motto is: "Defending Those Who Defend America." Nice German stein with interesting military provenance displayed in the decoration.
