Beautiful Italian Inlaid Marquetry Jewelry Music Box

Really high quality marquetry Italian jewelry music box, with a blonde maple case with darker string banding, and mixed colored hardwood flower inlay to the lid. The box measures 10 3/4" wide by 6" deep by 3 1/4" tall, it has a bombe shaped body and slightly domed top, it stands on four small metal bun feet, and is lined with a red velvet type fabric. The box was made in Italy for Sireon Imports, it has a working musical box that winds to the base, and plays a very pretty tune (which I did not recognize) when opened. The box originally had a key to lock it, though this is now lost, these boxes normally have a fairly simple key mechanism, so I am sure if you needed one a good locksmith could provide. The box is in excellent estate order, I found one very tiny indent to the banding round the lid, and the makers labels on the base are a little tatty, otherwise excellent. If you have always wanted a beautiful quality musical jewelry box, then this would be perfect, it is elegant, expensive and in excellent order.
