Westward Ho Rodeo Pattern by Wallace 15" Oval Platter, Rare!

Americana at its very best, and quite rare, this is the authentic and highly stylish Westward Ho Rodeo Pattern made by Wallace between 1943 and 1964, with graphics designed by Till Goodan.

This is a large oval platter from the original collection, marked to the reverse for Wallace and signed to the front for the designer (it is not to be mistaken for the much later edition reproduced in the 1990's by True West China, marked with their back-stamp, and which does not have the Till Goodan signature).

The platter is 15" inches in length and is a little over 10" inches wide, it is extremely heavy and the glaze is bright and the surface shows very little wear, there are very light utensil marks if it is held to the light, but it looks as if it has spent the majority of its life on display, and has no cracks, crazing, or repairs.

I have several other pieces in this pattern that I will be listing, if you buy more than one piece I will reduce the total order by 10% and will be happy to combine shipping. If you are considering purchasing from outside of the US, please contact me as this is a very heavy pottery range, and will need careful boxing, so shipping will not be a cheap option.
