Fun Hand Carved & Painted Wood Letter Opener Page Turner
Nice old letter opener or page turner/book mark from local collection. The opener dates to around the 40's or 50's, it is slightly kitsch and great fun, with a man in profile with his mouth open, he is rather rustic looking, and I would guess this is German artisan. The opener measures 7 1/2" tall, the base has a deep stained finish, the top is in bright colors. No damage other than a small flake to the reverse and slight overall age toning, this displays well and would be a nice gift, both functional and collectable.
