Stylish Pair of Circa 1930's Brown Suede T-bar Flapper Shoes
The shoes were fairly lightly worn, and are in good condition for their age, they have leather soles with metal tips, and brown suede uppers with lots of top stitching and a gimp trim, they each have two thin straps that intersect with a t-bar, and fastened with tiny gilt buckles. The soles of the shoes show some wear and discoloration, there is slight fading to the suede, some wear and discoloration to the interiors, and minor corrosion to the buckles, but overall the shoes are very pretty and sturdy. There are numbers printed on the inside of the shoe, including a 7 1/2" which I think was probably the size, from the tip of the toe to the heel they measure approx 9 1/2" long, they are a narrow fitting with heels that are 2 1/4" high.
These are a fantastic pair of genuine flapper shoes to study, or display as part of a collection.
