Interesting pair of hand made copper letter openers or book marks, each with an engraved Native American Indian motif, one of a teepee, and one of an Indian head, they have hand cut and beaten edges, and are very decorative. These came from an old estate, I estimate they date to the 30's or 40's and are probably reservation made for the tourist market. The larger opener measures 8" log, the smaller 5", I lightly hand polished as they were very dirty, but there is residual patina and the copper is a warm rich color. Nice hand made pair for the desk or display, see my other listings for more nice letter openers from the same estate.
