The Most Gorgeous, Large & Lushious Cast Iron Doll Bed Ever!

Oh my, this is doll heaven! Super cast iron highly ornate larger doll bed, sleigh shape, with decorative head and tailboards and matched side rails, this one is just lovely. The bed measures 20" long by 14" wide with 10" tall end boards, it is large enough for most fashion or bisque dolls. I was told from the previous owner that the bed had belonged to a family member who had been given it as a child in the 1920's, I did some searching but could find nothing else quite like it, it is not signed, but it definitely has some age, both the wooden frame and the mattress are hand made and old, and the screw bolts also show some aging - see photos. The mattress has a loose cover of old brocade, tied with old ribbon, and the pillow and posts have a full 10 yards of pure silk ribbon trim in softest ecru, there are also antique tassels on each corner. Exquisitely lush, this is the perfect bed to display with the most lovely of dolls.
