Beautiful 1960's evening gown, with a peach synthetic taffeta under-body and a nylon lace overlay. The gown is a modified A line, with a curved seam across the top of the bust, a boat neck front with a slight Vee to the back. The lace overlay is gathered to the back giving a very Jane Austen profile, and opens to the front where it is finished in a bow that matches the under-dress. Classic 1960's style, I love these A lines, so easy to wear and flattering. My model is a medium, and the dress fitted quite well but would not go bigger, I would say around a size 10 for a perfect fit, but please check the measurements against a garment of your own. Measurements are 17" underarm, 15" waist, 20" hip all measurements taken flat, 52" length, if you need other measurements please contact me. The dress has been stored for a long time and would probably benefit from a light dry clean, there is no damage and no staining, there are a couple of very tiny spots on the under dress, these are pretty much invisible because of the lace overlay. The hem of the underskirt has a net binding which I think was intended to be turned, it perfectly wearable as it is but look better it was given a tiny one turn hem. This is a beautiful period gown with a very flattering shape, the lines are just lovely. It would be really special for a vintage prom, dance, wedding or other function.
