Rather Rare Signed Bethwood Royal China Art Deco Trinket Box & Tray
Rather rare Bethwood Royal China (signed) Art Deco trinket box and matching tray, dating to around the early 40's, with a very period and stylized floral decoration finished with gilt accents. Both the pieces are fully backstamped, and they are very elegant with nice quality detailing such as a repeat of the floral motif on the inside of the lid and on the inside base. The box measures 1 1/4" tall by 3 1/2" long by 2 1/2" wide, the tray is 4 3/4" by 3 1/2", the set is in good older vintage order with no chips of cracks and just the slightest of wear to the finish. Very good looking Art Deco set by a high quality and not very plentiful maker.
