Beautiful David Anderson Sterling Viking Ship Pin Pendant Circa 1960

This is a beautiful large sterling silver pin pendant from the Norwegian company, David-Andersen. The piece is a large Viking ship that can be worn either as a brooch pin or as a pendant, it dates to the 1960's and was designed by Bjorn Sigurd Ostren. The pin is in very good vintage estate condition, it measures approx 2" long by 2" wide and is fully marked for maker, designer and silver content to the reverse as follows: D-A Norway Sterling 925 S Inv BSO. Very solid and sturdy, the weight is approx 18.5 grams. Wonderful quality, I love the hammered finish on three of the sails, and the beautiful geometric form, this would be a lovely addition to a collection of mid century sterling designer jewelry.
