Stunning Set of Eight Delinieres Limoges Antique 9 1/2" Dinner Plates

Stunning set of eight highly ornate 9 1/2" Limoges dinner plates by and D & C (Delinieres) and decorated by T & V (Tressemann & Vogt), datable by the back stamps to around 1894. The plates are so finely and densely decorated that they could easily pass as cabinet plates, there are slight differences from one to the other, some have the main floral spray to the right, some to the left, they are exquisite in their detailing, and worthy of the most prestigious setting. The plates have an undulating edge, a white ground with a fine tiny gray floral transfer design, overlaid with stunning large floral sprays highlighted in gold. Wonderful to find a long set of eight, the plates are in good antique order, there is some light rubbing to the gilt edges in a couple of places (I have taken a detailed photograph of the worst, but overall it is fairly negligible), and one very shallow chip to the reverse side one plate that does not show at all from above (see photo), otherwise excellent. If you have been looking for a set of really exquisite Limoges plates, these may be perfect.
