Lovely old Sheffield silver on copper bowl, which I estimate dates to the late Victorian period, with nice heavy plating and raised border decoration of grapes. The bowl measures 9" long by 5" wide, it is in good order for the age with very little plate loss, there are a couple of very tiny indentations to the bowl, and the border is a little worn from polishing, but overall it displays well and is a nice antique Sheffield plate item. The slight yellow color of the bowl in the photos is from the light, the bowl itself is a true silver in tone. The bowl is marked Sheffield, silver on copper, plus punch marks for the maker which I do not recognize, see photos.
