Stunning 1940's Black Fur Short Cape, Elegant and Glamorous
Really elegant and very period looking 1940's black fur cape, with squared shoulder line and openings for the hands, it carries a Morton's label. The cape is of a real fur, very dense and thick, I think it is probably seal. The cape measures 18" across the shoulders, and is 22" long, the model takes a medium and it fitted her very well,though I would not go larger. The cape is in good condition for the age, it has a very clean satin type fabric lining with minor fading, and very minor wear to the fur with one small worn area to the front edge, which is not at all noticeable when worn. The cape looks stylish on, and would be very glamorous over a retro evening gown, giving a true 1940's line.
