Exceptional Italian Pipe LaRocca with Pearlized Lucite Stem‏

This is a very handsome and extremely well made LaRocca pipe. It is carved from beautiful plateaux briar. The black pearlized lucite stem really gives this piece a very distinctive look. LaRocca is not very well known in the US but is very popular in Europe where it has a reputation for meticulous craftsmanship and uncompromising quality. The Speciale series, with its unique pearlized lucite stem gives a little European flair to a very traditional pipe design. This is a great pipe for the smoker who likes a modern twist on an old standard. This great pipe has been in a private collection hardly used and in excellent condition! It has been smoked lightly hardly any teeth marks on the stem, see photos. LaRocca and Speciale is stamped on the smooth portion of the shank along with, Italy and the letters LR in script on the stem.

The pipe is five and one quarter inches long. The bowl is one and thirteen sixteenths inches tall and the bowl is one and seven sixteenths inches across at its widest part.
