Gorgeous Victorian 14k gold seed pearl pin and earring boxed set, pretty design, delicate and highly wearable. Less bulky than many of these sets, the workmanship on the pieces is outstanding, the ultra fine mil-grain detailing on the pin makes it look as if it were cast from a real stem. Three little genuine seed pearls are prong set, one in each earring and one in the pin. The pin has a steel pin which is in excellent working order. Pierced earrings have a hook back that closes in a loop, very secure. Still in the original oil cloth box with blue velvet lining, marked interestingly Connemara Hotel Madras, Jamil Marikar, this came to me from England, so a piece of colonial history. Like much Victorian jewelry the pieces are unmarked, but my local jeweler acid tested at 14k. Up to 4 months layaway available, please contact me for details.
