Circa 1940's Set of 4 hand made and hand painted rooster primitive canisters. Love these, all corners dovetailed, all the roosters are different and hand painted, lovely variegated patina and slightly chippy paint, they display just great. Even better they are like Russian dolls, they exactly fit inside each other for storage (see photo). All wood construction with pressed ply bases, good size descending from 8 1/2" tall by 7" wide and 6 1/2" deep on the largest.
