Lovely Vintage Hand Painted Metal Tole Floral Basket

This is a really nice older tole trellis design basket, very solid and well made, not at all light or flimsy, with delightful large tole hand painted flowers and leaves on both sides. The basket measures 12" long by 12" wide (to the outer edges of the flowers) by 10" tall to the top of the handles. The handles are hinged, the basket is spot welded together at the rim, and the flowers are also spot welded in place, all very sturdy. The basket is painted an antique creamy white, the applied metal flowers are painted in soft pinks and white with deep green leaves. I think this would make a fabulous display basket for small linens, you could also use to hold soaps in a bathroom, or load with flowers as a centerpiece for a summer dinner table, it is a great looking basket and the potential decorative uses are literally endless. The basket is heavy for the size, shipping is an estimate, I will refund if it comes in lower.
