Circa 1930's Primative Log Cabin Doll House in the form of a Basket

Fresh from a the estate of a local doll collector, old (circa 1930's or early 40's) log cabin dolls house in the shape of a carry basket. Doll house has rounded planked sections mounted on some sort of early board, with two windows and a door. One window still has the dividers, the other has lost them, I don't believe it ever had a door. An early hand stitched quilt block forms the roof. Very simple early primitive doll house, a poor child's toy, I suspect made by a father for his daughter, lots of work in mounting all the planking, a labor of love. Wood has darkened to a near black patina. Handle is a little loose, one plank is missing, all just as it came from the estate, completely original. Doll house is 14" high, 16" long and 10" deep. Fascinating early toy to add to a collection.
