This signed Hector Aguilar 990 silver Jaguar pin was made around late 1939 or early 1940. This rare pin comes out of my personal collection. It is shown on page 60 in Silver Masters of Mexico by author Penny C. Morrill. Measures 1-1/2 inches wide and 1-1/2 inches high. Signed HA 990. Weighs 12.5 gram of 990 more than sterling silver content. This Taxco Jaguar is one of the hardest early pins to find. The pin has the closing pin bent to form to the fastener which was used on early Taxco Mexico pins or brooches. Has a great patina and has not been cleaned or polished. Will make a great addition to any fine jewelry or costume jewelry collection.
