Vintage Crown Trifari "LOVE" Heart Faux Pearl Pin Brooch
This LOVE heart unsigned Crown Trifari piece is listed in "Signed Beauties of Costume Jewelry" by Marcia Brown on page 191. It is valued at $150. The only difference this one is unsigned and probably had a hang tag. This beautiful little heart pin has a base of gold tone leaves, accented in the center with tiny faux pearls, and on the outer base seven colored stones. It is a very delicate piece, measuring 1¼ by 1 inch. It is in excellent condition, with all stones intact and a strong clasp. Starting from the stone the represents a Diamond, move around the heart to the next one Emerald, Amethyst, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, and finally Topaz..from the first letter of each stone..spells the word DEAREST. Will make a great addition to any fine costume jewelry collection.
