Vintage Finland Stylized Modern Necklace Sterling Silver Abstract Tiger Eye Stone

Phenomenal sculptural necklace signed made in Finland in 1973 and signed with the mark for Turn Hopea. When I first saw the necklace I thought it was a Kaunis Koru piece because of the form and design and who is known for Modern design. This necklace is oversize and has a pendent that has a abstract form and has one cats eye stone inlaid that really draws attention to the Modernism piece. The necklace chain has a hook end so you van make it longer or shorter. The chain is 27" long. The pendent necklace is 1-3/4" wide and 2-1/4" high. The sterling silver chain and pendant weigh 39.7 grams total weight. The abstract necklace with many Finland hallmarks as shown in the pictures. Marks are FINLAND, T inside a H for Turn Hopea, Heart with crown, 830 for silver A with line over it (Hard to read), U7 for 1973. On the other side is signed by the artist Looks like Zona Laine in script. This is an important neck piece. Innovative for its time and bold in its design. Will make a great addition to any fine costume jewelry collection.
