This Cathe Jelly Belly angel fish is from the late 1950s to early 1960s. It was made in the style of Trifari jelly belly's. The fish is a piece my mother has had for years. She sold Cathe jewelry at home and did party's at other homes. This Cathe jelly belly is featured in Costume Jewelry 101 by Julia C. Carroll on page 141. The lucite jelly belly has a few scratches and is very clear, The gold finish is in excellent shape. On the very bottom edge of the fin some of the gold has some wear off just very little as you can tell by the picture. The fish is 3 1/4 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide. Its a very big jelly belly and is not seen for sell very often. This brand of jewelry is allot like Coro and Trifari and other companies that used lucite for the jelly belly pins.
