Danish Studio Art Pottery Vase Michael Andersen and Son Sang de Boeuf Glaze Bats applied to rim FANTASTIC
Fresh to Ruby Lane from my own art pottery collection. This has been in my possession for 20 years and originally came from a New York City estate. This studio Danmark/Denmark pottery vase is truly breathtaking and now awaiting a new home. Condition is excellent. Glaze skip that is pictured . A little dirt inside...just always left it that way. No chips, cracks, or repairs. A very difficult glaze to execute and the subject matter is uncommon. Size is approx. 5 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches wide at top of vase. The bats wings wrap around the rim in a highly artistic manner.
