Antique "Strook" Wool Mohair FOX & ROSES Buggy Carriage Lap Blanket

This is a pretty nice antique mohair wool lap blanket made by Strook. These heavy wool blankets were made for use in carriages, buggies and early cars in the late 19th and early part of the 20th century as there were no heaters in their transportation vehicles at that time. (We're so blessed now!) This is a nice colorful blanket with bright red roses with bright green leaves and a large fox in the center. There is a little wear along the edges, but not a lot, but each corner does have some wear. There is one small stitched repair and a few worn spots on the black back side. It measures 49" by 63 1/2".
