Vintage Thermos Holdtemp Bottle~Harlequin Pattern

What a cute vintage thermos bottle this is, a great one to display. It is an American Thermos Bottle Co. Holdtemp pint size thermos. After the invention of the vacuum flask in 1892, they were not manufactured for commercial use until 1904 after 2 German glass blowers formed Thermos GmbH and then in 1907 they sold the rights to three different companies, one of which was The American Thermos Bottle Co. of Brooklyn, N.Y. After a couple expansions the company moved to Norwich, Ct. in 1912. This little thermos would have been made sometime after 1912. This thermos is in very nice condition for it's age, the glass still intact. It has a cork stopper and the metal screw on cup shows some wear but is still very functional. It is so cute with it's diamond pattern harlequin design and the paint is still in very nice condition. It measures 8 1/4" tall. It is an interesting and fun little thermos to add to a collection.
