50 % OFF RARE 1950's Large Tin 14" Santa on Globe/World Battery Op Toy, Japan

What a fun vintage tin Santa this would be to display this Holiday Season! This Santa sitting on the world globe is very rare. He is a vintage "Trim-A-Tree" toy made in Japan I believe from the late 1950's. Santa is in nice condition. He has cute shiny boots and he is carrying a hand full of cute wrapped packages and a spun cotton and chenille doll. His red and white suit is nice but does a a little spot on the bottom white trim where the glue was hard and and it has lost a little of the white fur. His large toy sack is filled with wood shavings and has a couple small holes and has a hint of browning. There are a few scratches on the tin base and globe and his bell clapper is gone. The battery compartment is clean but unfortunately I can't get him to work. He is suppose to rotate on the globe, head and arms should move and the stars on the globe should light and blink. I would imagine someone with a little patience and more mechanical ability than me could get him blinking again. He comes with his original box which is taped and torn and is stained. Even if he doesn't work, he is a wonderful and unique Christmas Santa to display.
