How fun to find two very early matching table top graters, great to display in a country kitchen. These are late 19th century/early 20th century graters made in Germany, both are marked 'made in Germany'. The larger grater is #830. It is partially painted in a cream color which is is pretty nice condition and is accented around the handle with the raised number 830 and three stars giving it a neat look. The grater, which is a fine cut, and housing are tin and it still has the original wooden pusher. The handle is wooden and in very nice condition. The height from the table top is 9 1/2". The second grater is a smaller replica of the larger grater but is marked #820. The overall measurement is a little over 8" with the measurement from the table top at 5 3/4". This one does not have a wooden pusher. The grater in this smaller grater is about a medium cut.
